Recreating a Score From 1971

Spread the love
A score transcription/ recreation from a 1971 recording from the Royal Albert Hall.
This job turned into a labour of love (luckily!)
We were asked by the composer to recreate a lost score from a poor quality 1971 recording of a performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
Many of the parts were incredibly difficult to hear so we transcribed everything that was audible and worked with the composer to recreate and missing elements. It really helped that I loved the music - it's full of rhythmic interest and has many different sections, cleverly related and with similarities to Vaughn Williams - no bad thing!Follow Nigel Paterson's music here: www.nigelpatersonmusic.com/
